The Finnish national grid owner recently announced its extensive maintenance agreements for substations, secondary maintenance and specialized maintenance. The result of the tender is very positive for Infratek.
Infratek was chosen for maintenance of 110 – 400 kV substations. The maximum limit for one company provider was three regions. Infratek has previously had two regions, Capital area and Oulu area , and succeeds in retaining these - plus adding a new region, Hikiä-Tampere area.
For secondary maintenance, Infratek maintains all five regions they have today, which includes the whole Finland area. Infratek also won the special maintenance agreement covering the whole of Finland (one player).
"The agreement is a result of all employees in Finland having a good service and showing good academic skills for Fingrid in the agreements we have had, "says Finland's chief executive Veera Höglund.
